Price tag on doing your job
A well-known airline offers its staff incentives for ensuring that flights operate on schedule. A corporate chairman offers executives bonuses so they will be inspired to achieve their targets. An entrepreneur increases the commission so that his bottom line stays afloat.
Are these acceptable business practices or are they bribes in that people are paid extra to do what they should be doing anyway and for what they are paid salaries for in the first place.

“Cauliflower is nothing but cabbage with a college education...” ~ Mark Twain.
Mark Twain may be right. However, the manner in which some of the corporate honchos behave themselves indicate that the Board of Directors or the owners of these business entities do not know their onions, but are still cabbage personae requiring salt and pepper.
No disrespect to anyone is meant here, but the truth of the matter must be told and emphasized, and that is all your honor.
