കയ്യാങ്കളി: എംഎല്എമാര്ക്ക് രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് സസ്പെന്ഷന്

വനിതാ വാച്ച് ആന്ഡ് വാര്ഡിനെ കയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്തെന്ന ആരോപണത്തിനു വിധേയരായ എംഎല്എമാരായ ടി.വി.രാജേഷിനെയും ജെയിംസ് മാത്യുവിനെയും രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് സസ്പെന്ഡ് ചെയ്തു.

രാജേഷും ജെയിംസ് മാത്യുവും തന്റെ ചേംബറിലെത്തി ഖേദം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചെന്ന സ്പീക്കറുടെ പ്രസ്താവനയെ തുടര്ന്ന് ഇരുവരും ചാടിയെഴുന്നേറ്റ് തങ്ങള് ഖേദം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും സംഭവങ്ങളില് വിഷമമുണ്ടെന്ന് അറിയിക്കുക മാത്രമാണു ചെയ്തതെന്നും അവര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

തുടര്ന്ന് ഈ സംഭവം തീര്ത്തും നിര്ഭാഗ്യകരമായി പോയെന്നും ഇത്തരത്തില് സഭയില് പെരുമാറുന്നതു ശരിയല്ലെന്നും കടുത്ത നടപടി നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നും സ്പീക്കര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തുടര്ന്നാണ് ഇരുവരെയും സസ്പെന്ഡ് ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രമേയം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.

Well done, Chiief Minister. Keep on ensuring that the trouble makers are brought to book, and punished. The law and order situation in Kerala, and across the nation, India, is on a downward spiral. It must be tackled, if necessary, with an iron hand.

Moreover,

Curruption in India, or for that matter, anywhere in the world, must be condemned, and rooted out, at the earliest.
