Naxalite Threat to India

Andhra Pradesh, India – 13 Sept 2007. In India today there are many Maoist parties and organizations that either predate the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) or emerged from factions when the CPI-ML split after the death of Charu Majumdar. Three of them, the CPI-ML (People's War), CPI-ML (Party Unity), and the Maoist Communist Center (MCC), are currently engaged in armed struggle.

An inter-connected "Naxalite belt" stretches across central India, comprising Bihar, MP, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and parts of Tamil Nadu. Those parts which were connected to the neighbouring states came under the influence of Naxalism. Its members are called Naxalites after the eastern Indian town of Naxalbari, where their movement originated in 1967.

The above being the case, how could a man who originally hails from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, but set up house in Bangalore, Karnataka, can possibly bullshit about the people of Kerala. This Chemical Ali the other day was saying to some of the foreign co-workers at a management meeting of the company that Keralites are Communists. Keralites want equal rights for people. Keralites are educated but have no culture.

One of the political parties in Kerala have communist philosophies, which does not mean that all Keralites are communists. After all, communists are a lesser evil than naxalites, and in Kerala there are no naxalites. So, this Hyderabadi is a naxalite snake-charmer.

If Keralites want equal rights for their people, so be it, because the Law dictates that all people must be treated equally regardless of their color, cast, creed, sex, or religious faith anywhere in the world. So, this Hyderabadi is against equal rights for people, and hence, a dictator. Dictators have no place in this world, and hence, this Hyderabadi must go. To hell, that is to sell his tobacco leafs grown in Hyderabad. He is against smoking, however, he does tobacco cultivation in Andhra Pradesh for money. What an irony.

Keralites for sure are an educated lot, but in no way cultureless, or as the Hyderabadi said “Keralites have no culture”.

We shall write more on this subject at a later stage (i.e. when we have more to say). In the meantime, we would like to know if any or all Keralites, share our viewes on the matter under discussion. So, please make your comments to this post, here at Librabitech. Thank you Keralites.

Bill Clinton

William Jefferson Clinton (born William Jefferson Blythe III on August 19, 1946) was the forty-second President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001.

Before his presidency, Clinton served nearly twelve years as the 50th and 52nd Governor of Arkansas.

He was the third-youngest person to serve as president, behind Theodore Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy, and is known as the first baby boomer president. Clinton is considered to have served during the American transition from the political order of the Cold War. Clinton was a New Democrat politician and was mainly responsible for the Third Way philosophy of governance that came to epitomize his two terms as president.

Clinton presided over the longest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history, which included a balanced budget and a federal surplus. His first term saw the passage of economic legislation such as the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993. In 1994, because of several legislative failures, including an unsuccessful attempt at health care reform, Republicans won control of the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years. In his second term he was impeached by the U.S. House for perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power in relation to a scandal with a White House intern, but was subsequently acquitted by the United States Senate and remained in office to complete his term. Other events of Clinton's second term include the Kosovo War.

Clinton left office with polls revealing that most people questioned his morals and ethics; however, he also retained a 65% approval rating, the highest end-of-presidency rating of any President that came into office after World War II. Since leaving office, Clinton has been involved in public speaking and humanitarian work. He created the William J. Clinton Foundation to promote and address international causes, such as treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS and global warming. In 2004, he released a personal autobiography, My Life.

His wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is the United States Senator from the state of New York.

Clinton was inaugurated on January 20, 1993 as the 42nd President of the United States. In his inaugural address he declared that:

Our democracy must be not only the envy of the world but the engine of our own renewal. There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America.
